Veteran manager Neil Warnock has parted ways with famous Scottish side Aberdeen. After being in charge of the football team for just over a month.

    The 75-year-old coach took over the job of managing the Aberdeen team on February 5th. With a short-term contract until the end of this season. Although they recently led the team to a 3-1 win over Kilmarnock and advanced to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup.     A statement from the club said: “The club would like to thank both Neil and Ronnie Jepson for their efforts. As part of the search for a new manager. Peter Leven will oversee all aspects of the first team until the process is concluded.”


Warnock himself come out and said that “I am honored to coach Aberdeen for a short period of time to help Dave and the board to a position. Where they can be close to a permanent appointment.”

    “It goes without saying that I hope I can get a few more league wins but I’m delight to have help the club reach the Scottish Cup semi-finals. I hope they can. Can move forward and successfully lift the championship trophy.”
