ทางเข้า ufabet media outlet SPORT reported that RB Leipzig rejected a bid worth a total of 60 million euros for Dani Olmo and felt that Barcelona’s payment terms were an insult to the club.
Olmo, a 26-year-old Spanish forward, has a contract with Leipzig until 2027 and the total value of 60 million euros that Barcelona offered last week was in line with the release clause.
However, the news agency revealed that the deal was hit by an obstacle because Barcelona offered an initial fee of 40 million euros, to be paid in four installments every January until 2028.
As for the remaining amount, Barcelona requested to include a condition to pay a fee of 5 million euros if the team successfully wins La Liga, with a maximum of 2 times.
Barcelona also included a condition to pay the remaining amount if the team wins. Each Champions League award is worth €5m, with a maximum of two instalments.
That means Bundesliga side Leipzig will only receive the full amount for Olmo if Barcelona win La Liga and the Champions League twice in the next five years.
In addition, the Catalan giants have offered Leipzig until January to receive the first €10m, according to the report
on Thursday. The terms and conditions are so “incredible” and “ridiculous” that Leipzig rejected them without thinking twice. Leipzig
also feel Barcelona are insulting them with an offer for their best player, while Olmo is also a target for Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
